Congratulations to Serah Otokolu Kaufo’ou, Vakaola Maka, Senerita Petali, Kelin Te Whenua, and Sione Tukia for their presentations at the Leadership Through Learning programme in the wider University this semester. These bright undergraduates were an active group of students within Manaaki in 2019 (SMS programme for stage II Maori and Pacific Island students). They demonstrated the ability to create an engaging academic community while they were part of Manaaki, and we are proud of their transformations through this leadership programme.
The presentations included stories about their journeys, highlighted the importance of self-reflection, and demonstrated how our history and relationships can guide us towards achieving our goals.
