Alice McDouall, Department of Physiology. Her project title is ‘Diagnosis and treatment of mild hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy’. She is supervised by Dr Joanne Davidson and co-supervised by Professor Alistair Gunn, Professor Laura Bennet, Dr Guido Wassink.
Julia Newland, Department of Anatomy and Medical Imaging. Her project title is ‘KCC2 and NKCC1 expression in the human Huntington’s and Alzheimer’s disease medial temporal lobe’. She is supervised by Dr Andrea Kwakowsky and co-supervised by Distinguished Professor Sir Richard Faull and Associate Professor Henry Waldvogel.
