Congratulations to Chirag Jivanji who recently became a recipient of the 2016 Fowlds Memorial Prize. He was nominated by Associate Professor Clare Wall, Head of the Discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics and Dr Max Petrov, Department of Surgery (his supervisor). The Dean has chosen him from a list of six nominees as the most distinguished student in Health Sciences from 2016.
Chirag was awarded an A+ for his master’s degree and produced three first authored papers in top journals in his field during his studies.
The prize is awarded to a student in each faculty who, in the opinion of the Faculty, was the most distinguished Honours or Masters student in that Faculty in the previous year.
