Please join me in congratulating Zakieh Vahdati, Department of Molecular Medicine and Pathology, for successfully defending her PhD thesis. The title of her thesis was ‘In vitro and in vivo characterisation of a panel of clinical and environmental isolates of Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC)’.
She was supervised by Associate Professor Siouxsie Wiles, Department of Molecular Medicine and Pathology and Dr Jemila Kester, Auckland University of Technology.
