We welcome Noah Papali, a PhD student from the Auckland Cancer Research Centre. He is supervised by Dr Kimiora Henare and co-supervised by Dr Alicia Didsbury, Associate Professor Cherie Blenkiron and Dr Karaponi Okesene-Gafa.
His research focuses on the distribution of myeloid cells within endometrial cancer biopsies from Pacific patients. He aims to characterise these tumours by examining their molecular subtypes, immune cell presence and their metabolic and hormonal profiles. This work will contribute to the development of biologically relevant models for better understanding and treatment.
Outside of his research, Noah enjoys watching classic films and strength training. He is enthusiastic about connecting with colleagues and becoming an active member of the Faculty community.
