Ashley Mattson is the Programme Developer and Professional Teaching Fellow in the PGDipHSc (Cardiac Ultrasound) she was recently appointed to the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR) course assessment pool.

After a successful accreditation application and a site visit to the University of Auckland by the NZ Medical Radiation Therapy Board (MRTB)  for the PGDipHSc (Cardiac Ultrasound), Ashley felt that she was in a unique position to assist with the assessment for accreditation of sonography programs internationally without being a conflict of interest. She is proud to be able to represent ultrasound from a cardiac perspective, which is often overlooked as it makes up only a small fraction of all registered sonographers.
