We welcome Aimee Mills and Alice Little our new PhD students. Aimee Mills, Department of Anatomy and Medical Imaging is supervised by Dr Andrea Kwakowsky and co-supervised by Associate Professor Monica Acosta, Professor Helen Danesh-Meyer and Professor Colin Green. Her project is entitled, ‘Is the inflammasome pathway a unifying pathway in Alzheimer’s Disease and Glaucoma?’
Alice Little Department of Anatomy and Medical Imaging, is under the main-supervision of Dr Samantha Holdsworth, Department of Anatomy and Medical Imaging and Dr Sarah-Jane Guild, Department of Physiology. Her thesis topic is ‘Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of brain motion as a non-invasive diagnostic and assessment tool for abnormal intracranial pressure’.
