Ms Raquel Ortega Gambarini is an International student who is starting her PhD studies on 1 December at the ACSRC. She is supervised by Associate Professor Adam Patterson, Associate Professor Jeff Smaill and Dr Amir Ashoorzadeh. Raquel completed her Masters of Biosciences on the isolation and characterisation of 20S proteasome inhibitors. She will apply her expertise to the development of a proprietary class of tumour-targeted Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor inhibitors with significant clinical potential.
