Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre (ACSRC) staff along with staff and students from FMHS supported Daffodil Day on 30th August 2019. Daffodil Day is the largest national fundraising and awareness day for cancer research, patient, family support and education in New Zealand.
From paddock to pavement, ACSRC staff stepped out this August to support the cause. They sold freshly-picked daffodils in the FMHS Atrium and ran raffles to raise $690 for Cancer Society NZ. They also volunteered out of the lab and office to hit the streets of the Auckland CBD, to collect donations from the public. Helping on Daffodil Day is always exciting with so many people willing to help and kind people making generous donations.
