Denver Britto and Jonathan Astin have published a paper entitled ‘Macrophages enhance Vegfa-driven angiogenesis in an embryonic zebrafish tumour xenograft model’ in the journal Disease Models and Mechanisms. This paper describes a new model for macrophage-assisted tumour angiogenesis and allows in vivo imaging of macrophage-blood vessel interactions.
