Congratulations to Anuj Bhargava on winning the 2018 Butland Award for Innovation in Teaching.
As a Professional Teaching Fellow in the Department of Physiology Anuj is deeply involved in teaching in undergraduate physiology, medical and pharmacy courses. Over his career Anuj has often used student feedback as a trigger for the introduction of a number of teaching innovations that are aimed at promoting effective learning within and beyond the classroom. Most recently he has adopted kuraCloud, a cloud based learning platform and combined it with a sound blended-learning approach (an approach using both online and in-person learning experiences) to significantly improved student engagement. Anuj’s constant drive to introduce new and innovative teaching tools has resulted in him being awarded the Butland Award for Innovation in Teaching.
A function to present the Butland Teaching Awards will be held on Wednesday 18 July, 4.00pm in the Atrium.
