Congratulations, Dr Akshata Anchan on receiving the Rutherford Foundation Fellowship. Her fellowship will investigate brain metastasis by aggressive cancers like melanoma. Specifically, Akshata will investigate melanoma released bi-products and extracellular vesicles in migration across the protective blood-brain barrier endothelium. Akshata has several projects investigating brain metastatic cancers such as melanoma, breast cancer, and lung cancer.
