Congratulations to Dr Kelly Zhou on her success at the Summit Conference for her Decode Science 2nd Place Research Presentation Award. She was awarded a $1500 travel and career development award, sponsored by Decode Science. The title of her presentation was ‘Persistent cortical and white matter inflammation after therapeutic hypothermia for ischemia in near-term fetal sheep’.
Kelly also received her first project grant from the Neurological Foundation. Her project is, ‘Does Exendin-4 administration after therapeutic hypothermia reduce neuroinflammation and prevent brain damage after ischemia in the near-term fetal sheep’.
