Congratulations to Niloofar Zandvakili and Brittney Black who successfully defended their theses.
Niloofar Zandvakili’s thesis is titled, ‘Establishing Murine AML Models Suitable for the Study of Clonal Evolution, Leukaemia Stem Cells and the Testing of New Treatment Strategies’. She studied in the Department of Molecular Medicine and Pathology and was supervised by Professor Stefan Bohlander and co-supervised by Dr Purvi Kakadia.
Brittney Black’s thesis is titled, ‘Glutamatergic characterisation of the Human Globus Pallidus in Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease’. She studied in the Department of Anatomy and Medical Imaging and was supervised by Associate Professor Henry Waldvogel and co-supervised by Distinguished Professor Sir Richard Faull.
