Congratulations to Pratik Thakkar and Yukti Yvas, Department of Physiology who successfully defended their thesis.
Pratik’s thesis, entitled ‘The physiological mechanisms and therapeutic relevance of the cardiovascular response to ischemic stroke: a preclinical study’. He was supervised by Dr Fiona McBryde and co-supervised by Dr Carolyn Barrett.
Yukti’s thesis, entitled’ Examining the physiological effects of zinc supplementation on Shank-associated mutations in Autism Spectrum Disorders’. She was supervised by Associate Professor Johanna Montgomery and co-supervised by Professor Craig Garner
